The OdorFree ozone generator is a great home odor eliminator because it attacks odors at their source. Permanent home odor removal with ozone will also kill microorganisms and get rid of mold and mildew.
Home odor removal is necessary because smells develop from various sources such as tobacco smoke, pets, cooking, moisture, mold, and body odors. These odors and vapors are not only in the air but adhere to the walls, ceilings, cabinets and crevices. They also get embedded in the carpet, the furniture, the drapes and clothing, as well as in the bathroom, kitchen and closets.
Ozone generators remove household odors very effectively. For example, a rental property designated as non-smoking is often smoked in by the occupant. Simply cleaning it will not eliminate smoking odors because the fumes penetrate the furniture and fabrics, and tobacco smoke residue clings to the walls, ceilings, inside closets and cabinets and most other surfaces.
Solution: To eliminate home odors, an OdorFree unit is placed in the home for treatment while the space is unoccupied. The dial on the timer is set depending on the severity of the odors. Cabinet and closet doors are opened and the area is vacated for treatment. O3 fills the entire home, contacting all surfaces, penetrating fabrics and oxidizing odors at their source. The time for treatment will vary with the size of the house and how deeply entrenched the odors. So treatment may take as little as 2 or 3 hours for light odors, whereas heavy odors may take 48 hours or more.
Note: The fan on the thermostat for the air conditioner may be turned to the ON position to help circulate the O3 throughout and remove odors that build up inside the ductwork.
Once treatment is completed, there is no trace of the original odor and no deodorizer smells that simply mask odors, which many people find objectionable. Occupants will enjoy a fresh smelling property, and this greatly adds to guest satisfaction.

The OdorFree Villa 1000 is our most popular model for home odor removal, especially larger homes, and is even used in smaller spaces that need rapid odor removal. Deeply entrenched odors In houses and apartments often require treatment for several hours or even longer.
The Villa 1000 has a variable ozone output control that will cover up to 4000 sq ft and a timer that can be set from 1 to 12 hours to automatically turn the unit off when the sanitizing is completed. In addition, a "Hold" selection on the timer allows for extended treatment (until it is manually turned off) in order to eliminate more deeply ingrained odors. Note: If the facility has central heat or air, most problem odors in the home will be inside the ductwork as well, so a large enough model is needed to treat the entire home at the one time. A model like the Villa 1000 makes also makes odor elimination much faster, especially for deeply entrenched odors.
