Solution: Ozone generators are very effective in removing a wide variety of office odors. To remove office odor, an OdorFree unit is brought into the area for treatment while the space is unoccupied. Let the last person who leaves at night turn the timer dial to operate for several hours. The entire space then fills with ozone. It oxidizes odors on the walls, carpets, furniture, in the break room or anywhere that harbor odors. And ozone attacks the cell structure and kills microorganisms such as mold and mildew . The unit should be set to turn off a couple of hours before reopening to allow the ozone to dissipate.

When staff and customers enter the office the next morning there is no trace of an odor. And there is no residual smell from deodorizers that try to mask odors, which many people find objectionable. Note: It is normally best to treat the entire facility at one time because odors may be trapped in the ducts. The fan on the thermostat may be turned to the ON position to help circulate the O3 throughout the facility. For treating one room only, it is best to tape the return vent closed with plastic or paper and close off any supply vents as well. This will keep the O3 inside the room to remove office smell and not let it be circulated into other rooms.

The Villa 1000 has a variable ozone output control that will cover up to 4000 sq ft and a timer that can be set from 1 to 12 hours to automatically turn the unit off when the sanitizing is completed. In addition, a "Hold" selection on the timer allows for extended treatment (until it is manually turned off) in order to eliminate more deeply ingrained odors. The Suite 700 can be used to remove office smells in moderate size offices. This model has a variable output control that will cover up to 2000 sq ft and a 1 to 60 minute timer that will automatically turn the unit off when the sanitizing is completed. A "Hold" selection on the timer allows the space to be sanitized for extended periods (until it is manually turned off) in order to eliminate deeply ingrained odors.

Note: While the Suite 700 can be used for medium sized offices, many companies find the 1 to 12 hour timer on the Villa to be more convenient than the 1 to 60 minute timer on the Suite.
